My mother was an excellent "chef" and I was told stories of even more amazing dishes my grandma made as she presided over hearty cooking sessions on special occasions. I often wonder if we loose a little of our ancestral cooking skills and secrets with each generation. Hence this blog of some recipes and kitchen magic that Amma spun with the hope that our kids will keep these dishes alive, while creating new memories with new flavours.
